The Wachowskis’ (the people who brought you The Matrix) have a new sci-fi drama up their sleeves and Netflix is on board.
The drama is called Sense8. It is described as “a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted.” It will be full of the Wachowskis’ unique storytelling style and vision. The sereis was born from the idea that “technology simultaneously unites and divides us.”
Netflix has picked up the series for 10 episodes for it’s debut in 2014. Sense8 is produced by Georgeville TV, Reliance Entertainment/Motion Picture Capital’s TV studio. This will be the Wachowski’s first try at at TV series, but they are partnered with J. Michael Straczynski’s Studio JMS (Babylon 5), so they are in good hands.
