With a week away from possibly the scariest movie of the summer if not the year, The Conjuring 2 plans to scare the pants off the audience. A new featurette dropped the other day. In The featurette, it shows what was the inspiration and goals for director James Wan had for The Conjuring. Previous credits include the latest Fast and the Furious installment, Furious 7 and the first Conjuring movie. As well as the creator of the Saw franchise.
Now this is actually the third installment in the horror franchise with the prequel/spinoff Annabelle released back in 2014. However unlike it’s forerunner, it flopped with critics. Will Conjuring 2 live up to the original or will it bust like Annabelle? Audiences will find out in a week when The Conjuring 2 will be released on June, 10 with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as the famous supernatural investigating couple.
