While Black Mask (A.K.A. Roman Sionis) may seem an unusual choice for those who are not familiar with the entirety of Batman’s rogues gallery, he is a vicious player in the Gotham underground and a brutal and sadistic leader of the False Faces. His role in Arkham Origins is as a very rich and very powerful mob boss.
“It’s basically Batman’s worst nightmare,” says narrative director Dooma Wendschuh. “We have eight of the best assassins in the world who’ve come together to Gotham City for one night, Christmas Eve of all nights, to kill the Bat.”
