I asked two girls, they said no, not offended. Then a HuffPo writer said it made her cry because rape culture. I didn’t interpret the video that way, but then again I like to think happy thoughts and this music video made me tap my feet. I’m not a girl, and I don’t understand what it’s like to constantly read on the internet about women suffering at the hands of the rape culture get harassed.
These guys are clearly being ridiculous, and in the party club atmosphere of a frat house, if those sorority girls showed up to party and instead sucked the life out of a room, I can imagine that both men and women alike would tell them to shut the f*ck up or leave. It’s perfectly alright for them not to show up, they could avoid the situation altogether, but instead in the midst of the party, they literally, didn’t want to join in on the reindeer games. I agree that rape is wrong. I just wanted to put that out there because sometimes journalists get really offended if you don’t agree with them so in case they wanted to say that I was pro rape, I’m not. But I have been to a lot of ridiculous parties, including and especially ones at the Playboy mansion, where girls are equally as aggressive as guys. Furthermore I have been told, by a lovely brunette named Kristen that asked me to take a shot where I said ‘no’, to “shut the f*ck up and take it”. I looked to see if the HuffPo writer had a problem with the Nicki Minaj “Anaconda” video or the “Booty” one from J-Lo– i didn’t see anything on HuffPo that was too terrible. I just don’t understand some writers sometimes. Maybe I’m not a writer, I see a lot of crap on the internet that I think is stupid but I like to focus on the happy. We have a few hundred thousand readers, am I just wrong?
Would someone get arrested for acting out the scene below? Or is this scene super offensive too? I don’t need anyone to explain it to me…
