Among the barrage of other comic book adaptations from both DC and Marvel, I’d forgotten almost entirely about the X-Men sequel, Days of Future Past. Until the new trailer that came out today, already circulating like wildfire through social media.
The trailer keeps the plot’s specifics under wraps but we finally get a look at Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask, the film’s main antagonist, as well as some saucy action bits (Mystique jumps out a window at one point). I’m interested to see how the film reconciles the differences between the first trilogy and the reboot with First Class. Hopefully the film ignores the travesty that was X-Men: The Last Stand. We’ll just have to wait and see.
