While Rocksteady isn’t making the game this time, Warner Bros. Montreal has access to their custom modified Unreal engine to be able to get the same atmosphere of the previous Arkham games. WB Montreal has made the WiiU Arkham City Armored Edition.
The story takes place from when Batman was young and just starting out his career in kicking ass. He’s going to be meeting many of his supervillains for the first time including Deathstroke and this game will establish the relationship between Batman and 8 other villains. Eight of the best assassins from all around the world have come to Gotham for one night, Christmas Eve, to kill Batman.
In addition to Arkham Origins, another game is slated to appear on shelves called Arkham Origins Blackgate. It will be for the 3DS and Vita and takes place after the events of Arkham Origins. Armature Studio is developing the 2.5-D Metroid-style exploration action game.
