In a brilliant record-setting match yesterday Tim Howard blocked an astonishing 827 shots on goal from the Belgians, only to let one in by Prince Harry and then some other dude whose name sounds like this great Japanese restaurant we used to go to in college called Kabuki. I totally caught the shrimp.
Unfortunately, the USA was let down by the men’s team, only to be resurrected by the one saving grace, that some people do indeed have a sense of humor. Oddly enough, this time, when the US loses, the world wins. May I introduce to you, the new meme, #thingstimhowardcouldsave.
