“For the first time ever, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang we know and love from Charles Schulz’s timeless “Peanuts” comic strip will be making their big-screen debut; like they’ve never been seen before in a CG-Animated Feature film in 3D.”
If you were at all skeptical about a big screen adaptation of the beloved Peanuts and their adventures, just watch the first teaser and I think you’ll change your mind. The interaction between Snoopy and Charlie is adorable, and the animation works for the environment, reminiscent of the old animated specials that still come on TV to this day. The animation style reminded me of the techniques used in Wreck-it Ralph and The Lego Movie, to make the environments look like their source material. Not the smoothness we normally get when thinking of CG animation.
Just show me Schroeder rocking out on that piano and I will be satisfied.
