The Incredibles was always my favorite Pixar movie. That’s why I was overjoyed- and frankly a little shocked- to hear that the movie will be rereleased in 3D! A chance to see one of my favorites in theaters- since I missed it there the first time.
“Right now we’re working on The Incredibles, which is a lot of fun in 3D. I’m not sure what the release strategy for it will be…It’s been an interesting challenge to work on technology because – while the film was released 10 years ago – the technology is even older as it took four years to make,” John Hollander of Pixar says.
“We have a version of Ratatouille, which works really well in 3D and we’re trying to figure out exactly what the release strategy for that will be,” he continued.
Fans of Pixar will remember that this isn’t the first time they’ve done this. The first two Toy Story’s and Finding Nemo have all been rereleased with 3D versions.
In other Pixar news, unfortunetely there will not be a new movie in 2014. We’ll have to wait for 2015 to get ‘Inside Out.’To find out more about the new movie, click here.
