Lego has come a long way from being just a child’s toy. It’s got hundreds of themed sets from pirates to space aliens to pop culture icons such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. There are tons of Lego video games and even a TV show. The natural next step would be a movie. Yes, a real lego movie.
The Lego Movie is the story of Emmett, an ordinary Lego man who, because of mistaken identity must save all of Lego-kind with a team of superheros.
The film has a star studded voice cast with Chris Pratt as the lead with the help of Liam Neeson, Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman and Alison Brie.
The Lego Movie hits theaters February 7, 2014.
