This is the first of the bunch, comment and share if you want more.
Were you sitting around last night wondering what to watch on TV? Here’s what you missed that’s on my list:
1: True Blood (9pm HBO) – I can’t figure out if Erik killed Warlo and if so I have no idea how he phased into Sooki’s special fairy land. I absolutely hate former Mrs. Rev. Newland’s character. I really hope she dies soon. Plus that sex scene with Jason a couple eps ago was the worst thing ever, she must have some kind of stupid nudity clause.
2: Ray Donovan – (10pm Showtime) – Jon Voight’s character scares me, and that’s not easy to do. I don’t know if it’s the writing or the acting but this is SUCH a heavy series I buy into it almost completely. Although I think Ray is going to take care of that mess next episode with the epic James Woods, who looked ancient in the last few seconds of last night’s ep.
3. Falling Skies (10pm TNT) – Season finale was last night, catch up with the season if you can it’s getting REALLY interesting but don’t rush because it’s not back until next summer, make that a spring thing. Noah Wyle is a pretty good leading man, glad to see him back on the scene, his newest offspring in the (the kinda alien-ey one he had with Moon Bloodgood) is going to be QUITE a cool spin for next season.
4. The Newsroom (10pm HBO) – I really enjoyed the back-and-forth inquisition regarding Africa, I like the campaign bus friction and I’m intrigued by the chemical weapon story. The OWS debate with McAvoy was pretty great.
5. American Ninja Warrior (9pm G4) – Sure, bunch of shirtless Parkour dudes and rock climbers want to get all shouty and run around, far be it from me to stop you but I will laugh when you fail, every time. It’s a fun show, these guys are really talented and hey, a girl almost made it (she was hot, FYI). It’s also on Monday night’s I think on NBC.
I don’t know if I’m going to do this every day, but here’s a start.
That’s Good Chowder,
