I don’t know why people were worried that Robert Downey Junior wasn’t going to return for the next two Avengers movies. The man is Tony Stark incarnate, Stan Lee said so himself.
But celebrities have busy lives apparently, and with giant blockbusters not even set to begin filming for another 9 month, hesitance about signing on can occur. Thankfully, both will be written and directed by Joss Whedon yet again. The Iron Man trilogies have brought in the most money, and RBJ was the highest paid actor on the Avengers cast. So Marvel nerds can sleep soundly that this fantastic billionaire playboy philanthropist will continue being played by the very talented Robert Downey Jr.
