My top most awful and/or annoying songs from pirated games

I don’t know why, but for some reason I really enjoy watching videos of cheap pirated Chinese knockoff video games. I guess it’s mostly because they’re so pathetically bad that it’s hilarious! As you would expect, the music in these games, if it’s not stolen, tends to be terrible as well so here is my list of the top 4 songs that I find the most awful and/or annoying from pirated video games. (I couldn’t decide on a #5 so I guess it’s going to be a top 4 lol)

Number 4: Sonic Adventure 7- This unofficial Sonic the Hedgehog game for the Game Boy Color features ugly colors, platforms that you can fall straight through, and a first level that is nearly impossible to beat. The song in the first level is really annoying in my opinion because it’s so high and screechy and loud and ear grating. Have a listen.

Number 3: Pokemon Adventure- This is another obvious Sonic ripoff for the GBC, but this one is Pokemon themed and you play as a very weird looking Pikachu. Instead of rings you collect Pokeballs which makes no sense, and some of the enemies seem to be indestructible which among other things makes the game difficult, and not in a good way. The music, though, is probably the worst thing about the game. It has some vague semblance of a melody, if you can even call it that, but the “harmony”, I guess that’s what it’s supposed to be, doesn’t line up with it. It’s the constant scratchy and static-y noises in the background though that really make me cringe.

Number 2: Pokemon Gold (Famicom)- This next one is from another Pokemon game, but this time it’s a bootleg version of Pokemon Gold made on the Famicom. Like many pirated games, the colors are ugly, but even more than that, this one uses sprites stolen from Pokemon Red and Blue when it’s supposed to be Gold. The game itself is nearly unplayable. The tall grass at the beginning doesn’t work, so you can’t find any wild Pokemon or catch them. Furthermore, you seem to deal at least a semi-reasonable amount of damage to the early enemies’ Pokemon, but they only do like one damage to you. Great balancing! (not). All the music in this game is really bad, but it’s the outdoor music that I find INCREDIBLY annoying. The notes are dissonant is just the right way to be aggravating and it’s sooo repetitive and yeah, you get the point. (go to 1:35 in the video and keep watching to get the full effect of how annoying it is)

Another fun fact: there was also a Famicom bootleg of Pokemon Red in which Red/Ash/whatever you want to call him fights Pokemon with his bare hands (wtf?!) Yeah, it’s terrible too lol

Number 1: Crazybus- This game, which barely even qualifies as a game, was made by some guy in Venezuela for the Sega Genesis. All you do is just move a picture of a bus back and forth. That’s it. The title screen… oh gosh the title screen… I don’t even know what to call this… it’s probably one of the most horrendous things that is supposed to be “music” that I have ever heard. So here it goes, feast your ears on this.
