Harvard is making exosuits

My application would be for cosplay, with a wearable that took the weight of the costume/application off of the cosplayer and was machine-assisted. Sure, there are more altruistic methods of use for this like old or disabled people but since I’m neither, it’s wearing costumes. However I do know of a few disabled cosplayers that would probably love to do a costume that didn’t involve a wheelchair. Is that insensitive? After typing that out I’m not sure if it’s right to assume that someone with a disability or that is unable to walk just sits around thinking about how they’re going to someday walk. I took out the ‘accpetance’ step, them just living their lives. If it were me, I’d dedicate my life to figuring out the science and application of this tech. But that’s just me.

Got the vid from Harvard’s Wyss Instute press release from a couple months ago. Late to the party as always…
