Community has a long history of making episodes in forms other than live action, we’ve had claymation and animated 8 bit video game. Season 4 is no different. What is it this time? Puppets. Yep. Puppets.
During Playfest 2013 the cast and producers of Community revealed that puppets will be used in an episode later this season.
In the episode the study group will take a hot air balloon ride that results in them crashing in the woods. There they meet a friendly mountain man, played by Jason Alexander (Seinfeld). The experience appears to be quite traumatizing so Dean Pelton makes them act out their feelings using puppets. What else?
The puppets are made of foam and felt and look quite close to their human counterparts.
