Let me get this straight. “That ‘70s Show” was (obviously) based in the 1970s in Wisconsin of all places, right? Well, here is my real question: Why did this show go off the air? I suppose we could place blame on “The O.C.” or “One Tree Hill,” but who didn’t love Eric’s boyish charm? And let’s not even get into Jackie’s retro style, because honestly, flares are making a come back. But where are these groovy teenage kids today?
Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde)
Let it be known that when “That ’70s Show” premiered in 1998, Masterson was hardly a teenager. In fact, he was 22 years old. Honestly though, can you name more than two or three teen television shows with actors who are actually teenagers? In any case, actor-producer Danny Masterson is better known as DJ Mom Jeans. Masterson’s talent and passion for mixing classic rock and today’s hip-hop began in 1999. We haven’t heard much music coming from his end in the last couple of years, but word on the street is Danny Masterson and “That ’70s Show” costar, Ashton Kutcher, will star in a Netflix original. Be sure to keep an eye out in 2016!
Mila Kunis (Jackie Burkhart)
This beautiful bombshell is living the dream. Not only is Mila Kunis the voice of Meg Griffin from “Family Guy,” she has also starred alongside Natalie Portman in “Black Swan,” and even played Justin Timberlake’s love interest in “Friends With Benefits.” But do you want to know a secret? SHE FINALLY MARRIED FORMER COSTAR ASHTON KUTCHER THIS PAST WEEKEND! This lovely couple also welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world last October. Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, if you ever read this, your mom is a total bad ass and we have loved her style since her days on “That ’70s Show.”
Wilmer Valderrama (Fez)
Let’s just throw it out there, OK? Yes, Wilmer Valderrama dated Lindsay Lohan when she was under age. He also dated Mandy Moore, Mischa Barton, Jennifer Love Hewitt (questionable), Ashlee Simpson (again, questionable), and even Mila Kunis! Needless to say, this guy is a babe magnet, much like Fez (Big Rhonda, Caroline, Nina, ect.). Not much is happening for this handsome fella, but hey, at least he gets to hold Demi Lovato’s Chanel bag on the red carpet!
Topher Grace (Eric Forman)
This Hollywood hunk is so out of this world he’s “Interstellar,” get it? We’ve seen Topher Grace in a handful of romantic comedies like, “Win a Date With Tad Hamilton,” “In Good Company,” and even “Valentine’s Day.” It’s about time for Grace to stop playing the “boy next door” roles, and move on to bigger and better things. Have you seen the trailer for American Ultra? Grace plays alongside Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg. Check it out! The film is set to debut in theaters August 21!
Laura Prepon (Donna Pinciotti)
If you haven’t watched all three seasons of the Netflix original series, “Orange is the New Black,” then you are missing out. Laura Prepon plays Alex Vause, an inmate at Litchfield Penitentiary. If you know the show, then you know what I mean when I say this girl is bat sh** crazy. And if you haven’t sat down on your couch on a random Tuesday night with Netflix streaming this controversial series, do it. Prepon’s character on “OITNB” may be the total opposite of Donna Pinciotti, but this black hair color is really working for her.
Ashton Kutcher (Michael Kelso)
He’s talented, he’s handsome, and he’s Demi Moore’s ex. No, I am not talking about Bruce Willis. Ashton Kutcher is a one-of-a-kind guy. Since his days on “That ’70s Show,” Kutcher has continued to shine in movies and the hit show, “Two and a Half Men.” He’s “Punk’d” many of his fellow actors and artists, and it’s rumored that Kutcher will make an appearance on ABC’s reality series “Shark Tank.” Catch the season seven premier Friday, September 25! In the meantime, let’s all congratulate Kutcher and his wife, Mila Kunis, on their weekend nuptials. IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME!
