Kingdom Hearts 3 is now in development. Yes, you heard that right. The game that has been so wanted and teased for so long is actually happening. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be for the PlayStation 4 and no release date has been made. This huge announcement was made right after Sony announced that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is also coming to the PS4, with the new name Final Fantasy XV.
Kingdom Hearts 2 was released in 2006 on the PS2, and while there have been many games released on other systems part of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, they weren’t direct sequels to the original timeline.
