Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis is set to star in How To Get Away With Murder, a new show from Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes. The show revolves around a mysterious law professor and a group of students who become entangled in a murder plot. The title of the show comes from Davis’s law professor character Annalise DeWitt’s Criminal Law 100 class, which she calls “How to Get Away With Murder.”
The cast also includes Matt McGorry, Aja Naomi King, Alfred Enoch,Karla Souza, Jack Falahee and Charlie Weber. After the success of Scandal with Kerry Washington headlining its rise, perhaps this new show could be its companion, propelling Davis into acclaim in television as well as film.
