In this new crime drama from TNT, each season will follow one murder case across ten episodes. “San Francisco homicide detectives Terry English (Taye Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson) investigate what originally appear to be two unrelated murders. Ultimately, they learn both victims have ties to Silicon Valley prodigy Erich Blunt (Tom Felton).” I think a child is naming these characters, but I’ll let that slide because Tom Felton does an American accent in this show. He tries anyway. It’s hard to disassociate the star from his Harry Potter roots and a minute-and-a-half trailer isn’t enough to judge a whole show.
Aside from the cast, the show isn’t breaking new ground with its storyline and characters. It will probably come off like a drawn-out episode of Law & Order.
Also, did you catch Breaking Bad‘s Charles Baker (Skinny Pete) in there?
