The much anticipated ‘RoboCop’ revamp is out in theaters now, but the blockbuster is not doing as well as Sony was hoping. The hugely popular ‘The Lego Movie’ is still topping the box office.
I guess this makes sense, as which movie would you and your significant other rather see on Valentine’s Day? The cute, funny flick about everyone’s favorite childhood toys or the remake of an action flick?
Sony apparently spent near $100 million in production of the flick, but experts now think the movie will not even top $18 million this weekend.
The fantasy ‘Winters Tale’ is doing even worse in the box office at only $4 million as of today.
