Were you wondering what today was? Oh, is it Pancake Day? Why yes, yes it is. SO I took it upon myself to get the jump on 2 things, first is the new Western Griddle Melt.

HOWEVER! IT was DELICIOUS. You will hear from me all day long about how I always customize my breakfast sandwiches from my local deli to include an omelet-style egg with bacon, onion and mushroom. This comes really close, texas toast, wester omelet with gooey cheese, side of hash browns. Available in half sandwich serving and price portion. A half sandwich and hash browns was about 5 bucks.
BUT IT’S PANCAKE DAY. So I got a stack of the NY Cheesecake Pancakes. They taste nothing like cheesecake pancakes, and the fruit compote on top the strawberries were almost frozen. Way too cold for my taste, cooled off the middle of the pancake. Whipped topping was haphazard at best.

Still, I ate most of it because I enjoy the original pancakes from IHOP.
