Ever since watching the Jack the Giant Slayer (don’t ask me why I watched it, it was a big mistake) and the Warm Bodies, I had this urge to watch About a Boy again.
For me, that movie will always be about that cute little boy with Hugh Grant. Let’s put the fact that cute little boy is all grown up and is a very good looking zombie now, to the side. And discuss how this story, adapted from Nick Hornby’s book, is picked up by NBC. On Wednesday, NBC announced that “the comedy “About a Boy,” based on the Nick Hornby novel, follows a single guy primary goal in life is avoiding responsibility – until he accidentally befriends the young boy and his needy single mom who live next door.” Yes, this is how it all starts, but I wonder if it is going be boring after a couple of episodes.
1600 Penn‘s Benjamin Stockham has landed the key role of Marcus, while Bent‘s David Walton will be Will.
Oh, and for those of you who were wondering, that cute boy – hot zombie’s name: Nicholas Hoult. You’re welcome.
