When Mark Hamill was recently asked if he will be reprising his role as Luke Skywalker in the upcoming Star Wars trilogy, he replied that he, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher had been approached to do so. He stressed that none of them have actually signed contracts yet, so it’s not confirmed, but he says it is likely that the three of them could appear as older versions of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. Hamill also said that if they decide not to be in the films, there won’t be other actors cast in their places, their characters would be written off instead.
