Man of Steel was reviewed a bit ago, and the general consensus was more or less “meh.”
Fans and non fans were particularly harsh on some aspects, but I feel people need to be reminded that it could have been a lot worse. The 2006 Superman Returns had so many plot holes and flaws that I don’t have time to list them all.
Thankfully, the youtube channel CinemaSin did that already.
I may be a cinema snob, but I can give credit where credit is due. Man of Steel thankfully steered clear of a majority of the above listed complaints. By avoid I mean it had a plot that didn’t make me cringe for 2.5 hours.
