I grew up watching Malcolm in the Middle. Bryan Cranston’s character as Hal, the bumbling Dad who is scared of his wife always made me laugh when the show was on but now I laugh even more because that same Dad from Malcolm in the Middle is now one of my favorite characters of all time. The ruthless Heisenberg from Breaking Bad. So for this Netflix pick, I chose one of my favorite Hal episodes from Malcolm and I want you to watch it keeping Heisenberg in the back of your mind the whole time. In one scene, his character performs a roller skate dance routine set to “We Are The Champions.” That’s right, Heisenberg does a roller skate dance routine.
