Amazing things are happening at San Diego Comic Con, especially for Legend of Korra fans.
During the Korra panel attendees were treated to a few amazing things. First, attendees were able to watch the entire first episode of Book 2: Spirits (the long awaited second season to the popular Nickelodeon show). And secondly, a release date was announced. Yes you read that right. Legend of Korra will be back on the air with brand new episodes starting September 2013! No exact date was given, but that should be coming very soon.
Book 2 will focus on the current avatar, Korra, learning the spiritual side of being the Avatar. In the past Korra has mostly relied on her physical strength and abilities while struggling with the spiritual side of her abilities. But in Book 2, in order to defeat the evil and angry spirits that have started popping up, Korra must tap into her spiritual Avatar abilities.
Korra will be meeting new friends and seeing some of her past lives, including the first ever avatar, Wan. Wan will be 
voiced by Steven Yuen (The Walking Dead). Wan’s story takes place 10000 years before Korra’s time and he set to appear in two episodes “Beginnings 1 & 2.” How Korra will be meeting him is still a mystery; perhaps she’ll be seeing his story through flash backs like has done with Aang’s. In any case, this is super exciting news!
