The NBC sci-fi series Heroes was famous for its popular first season and the subsequent seasons which steadily rammed the once-creative and engaging storylines and characters into the ground. It was a series that should have stopped while it was ahead. Now, the series will be brought back in 2015 as a 13-episode-miniseries by creator Tim Kring, airing once again on NBC.
The new series, which will have a digital tie-in with its television broadcast, perhaps finds its footing among the recent sci-fi television fad and with its roots in comic book trends. Heroes had a webcomic back in the day and an abundance of merchandise to promote the show and its multitude of characters. NBC has less to do in promotion when the fan base is already partially present. The plot of Heroes Reborn remains to be seen, as well as what cameos there will be from its previous stars.

That teaser said less than nothing.
