Congratulations are due to Frozen for becoming the second of only two animated films to ever pass the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office. The other is, unsurprisingly, Toy Story 3 which grossed $1.06 billion. Frozen is now among seven Disney films to have grossed over the $1 billion mark (there are only 18 films total to have done so) and that list includes The Avengers and two Pirates of the Caribbean films.
