If you want to see a list of Oscar winners, head over to IMDb here. I won’t bore you with those details. Just know that Gravity dominated a majority of the technical categories (duh) while 12 Years A Slave went home with the Best Picture award (yay) and American Hustle got nothing at all (ha).
I will instead give a brief list of my favorite moments from the ridiculously long broadcast. Seriously, they could have cut out at least an hour of unnecessary montages and musical numbers, no offense Pink and Bette Midler. So, here we go:
– Benedict Cumberbatch photobombing U2 on the red carpet before the show. Talk about a sexual human being.
– John Travolta absolutely butchering Idina Menzel’s name. It was a cringe felt round the world, or at least the internet.
