The second installment of the CAptain America craze opens on Friday in America. So get ready. But, the film has already opened in other countries. In fact, it opened well. It opened as the number one movie in 30 of 32 markets in which it debuted. Which is, needless to say, huge. Over $75.2 million is one quite of a payday for Disney and Chris Evans.

TheWrap reports “Chris Evans returns as the red-white-and-blue crusader Steve Rogers in “Winter Soldier,” which carries a $170 million production budget. Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie and Robert Redford co-star. The screenwriters are Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (“Thor: The Dark World”), working from a story by comic book writer Ed Brubaker, and the directors are Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, taking over for Joe Johnston.”
