Thanks to The Disneyland Parks Blog we can now get a firsthand look at the AMAZING Avengers Campus that will open mid-summer this year.
The first leg of the tour was WEB, the Worldwide Engineering Brigade. Its newest attraction: WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure will let guests sharpen their web-slinging skills!
Hint for the Tom Holland fans: Tom WILL be part of this attraction, obviously it will be in video during cut scenes and interactive parts of the attraction but STILL!
The Web Suppliers store will have robotic spiders, backpacks, goggles and all kinds of cool gear. Nearby the store, the Campus Supply Pod is where you can get all the rest of your Avengers gear, drinkwear and supplies.
Hungry from all that Avenging? You can try all kinds of experimental food and drink items from the food innovation science lab at the Pym Test Kitchen. They’ll be doing everything from craft beer tastings to miniaturized foods and particle-infused cocktail experiments.
The hidden gem in the park, we feel, will be the food carts: Shawarma Palace and Terran Treats! While you eat and walk around you’ll encounter all the Avengers heroes, including Iron Man in the new Mark 80 suit, and even catch a glimpse of Spider-Man swinging around high above the park (something never before seen at a Disney Park).
Lastly, as night falls in a very mystical section of campus, you’ll begin to see the work of Doctor Strange come to life, and potentially encounter the crazed villain Taskmaster (seen in our post from earlier today in the Black Widow film trailer) as you walk around the glowing sanctum.
Looks to us like this is going to be an EPIC attraction and we can’t wait to report more as it develops.
