With today’s Star Wars celebration happening, it was expected that a new look at JJ Abrams’ Star Wars The Force Awakens would be premiered.
That’s exactly what happened.
The second teaser trailer for the film was released and fans everywhere freaked out. Even I had a fangirl moment with friends on twitter. So in case you missed it, here it is:

Here are 7 things we got a closer look at in this teaser:
1. We get a look at what appears to be a universe affected by the Rebellion. It’s not completely rebuilt. There are crashed X-wings and Star Destoryers. Gives some epic scenery for sure.
2. A voice over of Luke Skywalker talking about the force…obviously it is strong in this one. Whoever “this one is.”
3. X-wings! Falcon! Tie Fighters! Space Battles! What more could you want? Give me more.
4. A new sleeker design for the storm troopers. Let’s hope this new design improves their aim.
5. New people. It looks like John Boyega is our new Hero and Daisy Ridley as another character to pay close attention to. We’re looking forward to learning more about their characters.
6. No BB8 in this one, but also of the glorious details make up for it.
and finally
7. Han Solo and Chewie. A real first look at our beloved characters in their later years. Han Solo is still as suave and badass as ever. And Chewie? Hasn’t aged a day.
