Another sad day in Hollywood and around the world as we find another great actor and contributor to the world of theater and cinema has passed, Lord Richard Attenborough. Being an uncultured American I only remember him as Kris Kringle on Miracle of 34th St and of course, the great John Hammond on Jurassic Park. But at points in his career he was also chairman of the British Film Institute, Britain’s Channel 4, Goldcrest Films, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and Capital Radio and a director of the Young Vic and the British Film Institute. In short, he was a great man, and he will be missed. I spared no expense in writing this tribute, nor providing this video of quotes from Jurassic Park, they made me smile.
