Two things I took away from this article. 1- some kid named Ko Chen-tun did a film 3 years ago called “You Are The Apple Of My Eye” in China that generated enough buzz that he now makes a million dollars a month from 19 different companies. WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK. 2- Jackie Chan has a kid, his kid is named Jaycee Chan, he looks a lot like his dad. He also has endorsement deals, he’s 31 years old, and he’s been in like 2 dozen movies. THEN they went and got caught in a drugs bust. Smart move. He makes about half a million a year just in endorsements.

The drug scandal involving Jaycee Chan and Taiwanese actor Ko Chen-tung may lead to a loss in advertisement endorsements worth several billion yuan, Tencent News reported Tuesday.
Ko shot to stardom for his role in the 2011 Taiwanese film, You Are The Apple Of My Eye. He was much sought after and appeared in advertisements for as many as 19 companies.
Two-thirds of his endorsement contracts are with Fortune 500 corporations including Quaker, Maybelline, HSBC, Canon, KFC, Chevrolet, Nivea and 7-Eleven.
Ko also has contracts with Levi’s, Adidas, Master Kong, Mixbox, Uni-present and several other brands, the report said.
However, the drug scandal may force many of these brands to stop airing television commercials featuring Ko.
Three brands are already looking for substitute celebrities, the report quoted sources as saying.
Entertainment commentators said Ko’s rising stardom, in particular in mainland China, may come to an abrupt halt after his arrest.
Ko may lose endorsement revenue from 19 brands of 5 million to 6 million yuan each month.
Jaycee, the son of actor Jackie Chan, would lose 2 million to 3 million yuan per year, the report said.
The younger Chan has endorsement contracts with brands such as Dove chocolate, Coca-Cola and Kangta sneakers.”
